FIRST DO NO HARM
Our educational conferences bring important speakers to South Florida (and other locations) and the variety represent one of our most important beliefs - that there are MANY Paths to Wellness. Come and find out more about yours!
For the 2012 meeting, the start time will be 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 1. (prior meetings began with our evening Reception at 6PM).
We are going to adopt the focus of First Do No Harm a topic Ann Fonfa, our president has been speaking on and presenting posters about all throughouth 2011-2012. It is an important reminder to all of us that conventional cancer therapy, even when effective, is way too toxic. That toxicity is all-too-casually accepted. That's wrong.
We intend to have a panel on insurance issues and CAM. Look for more information on that soon.

** We are convening panels on insurance issues - we want to push for full insurance coverage for CAM and Integrative therapies. Otherwise they are not accessible to everyone. Compared to conventional therapies, most CAM is quite inexpensive UNLESS it all comes out of your own pocket.
What is the point of insurance for many of us when it doesn't cover our healthcare needs? Let's start doing something about it.
Ann Fonfa, founder the Annie Appleseed Project
Insurance Panel participants: Molly McDonald Patient Advocate Foundation, someone (T/B/D) from American Medical Health (Houston-TX-based company) and Daniel Hamm, Bankers Life and Casualty Company who will discuss some strategies. Possibly others.
It has been very, very difficult to locate any speakers but we think we've finally gotten a panel together.
Special Conference Event: Juice Bar - a way to delight the taste buds, enjoy fresh ORGANIC fruits and vegetables, receive a HUGE amount of nutrients, start a detox...
