Interviewees Needed for Moffit Study Exploring Yoga for Joint Pain

We are looking for a couple of individuals to interview as part of our research to develop the Iyengar Yoga protocol for a Moffit Cancer Center study.  Specifically, we are interested in speaking with post-menopausal women who are in treatment for breast cancer with an aromatase inhibitor AND are experiencing joint pain, identified as Arthralgia Syndrome (AS).  This is characterized by bilateral and symmetrical pain and stiffness in the joints of the hands, knees, lower back, shoulder, hips, and/or feet; can be associated with early-morning stiffness and difficulty sleeping; and is thought to typically arise within two months of starting therapy with an AI.  If you are interested in being interviewed as part of this study and live in the Tampa Bay/Sarasota/Bradenton area, contact Andrea Feldmar at Andrea@centerforbuildinghope.org.
