Sarasota Memorial Hospital Holiday Recipe Contest

Hi! We are announcing the Second Annual Holiday Recipe Contest at SMH tomorrow for all employees! It was great fun last year and many super low fat, low calorie recipes were submitted and prepared!

Here is the recipe from our first prize winner last year…you might want to make it for a party or your family this holiday season.

Guilt Free Chocolate Cake

Ingredients:
1 Duncan Hines Dark Chocolate Fudge Cake Mix
1 16 oz can of Pumpkin
½ cup Splenda

Directions:
Mix all ingredients together. Mixture will be very stiff. Spread into lightly oiled 9 x 13 inch cake pan and bake at 350 for 20 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Serve warm with Light Cool Whip. Enjoy!!!

Nutritional analysis: 196 kcal, 3.6 gm fat, 40 gm carbs. With cool whip: 215 kcal, 4.6 gm fat, 43 gm fat. (Cake made by directions on the box plus DH icing = 420 kcal, 21 gm fat, 56 gm carbs).
