Timing of Menopause Tied to Chemicals in Women's Bodies

Early puberty, obesity, and breast cancer risk are among the growing list of women’s health outcomes that scientists are linking to chemicals in our environment and in our bodies. Now add early menopause to that list. Scientists have found an association between early menopause and high levels of certain chemicals, such as phthalates and certain pesticides, in women’s bodies.
